Aris App

Initially, Aris was a bit confusing to navigate and I was not completely clear on the goal of the app. I read through the website and then had a better grasp on the app as a whole. I navigated through some games, and decided to partake in the virtual tour of the UW-Madison campus. I actually enjoyed the game, which included tasks such as locating various landmarks on campus. Unlike most video games I have played in the past, it was extremely interesting to see the real-world connection to the virtual world I was in. It may even be useful for UW-Madison tour services to take a look at this specific game, as I believe it can really help new students find their way around campus and the Madison area. The way information was conveyed in that game and others that I looked at on the app made me realize that the way of the future is truly to be reliant on virtual simulations of real-world places and times. Overall, I think the app is a genius idea and I will definitely keep it on my phone.

  1. I also tried the UW Campus Tour game. I found out that the game is very educational and is useful for a lot of people, particularly new students who need to familiarize themselves with the campus buildings. I agree that the idea is brilliant, but there is still some room to improve the game and let it better serve its purpose.
