Manpower
The three cities I searched on Manpower Inc. were Madison, Minneapolis, and New York City. There were only 11 jobs available in the Madison area, and only two of them were permanent. Many of the jobs were temporary/seasonal and didn't require any technology skills or even a degree. Many were labor-oriented such as warehouse jobs or truck drivers. Minneapolis offered 36 jobs, 12 of them being permanent. Many of these positions required more skilled workers with either a high school or college degree. Some examples include sales representatives, sr. staff engineers, or customer experience representatives. Although these jobs required higher skill sets, the salaries offered were not that impressive. Finally, I searched New York City, a place where I would love to live someday. I was surprised that there were less jobs available here than in Minneapolis. 31 jobs were listed, with 12 of them being permanent. Overall, there was a wide range of jobs available on the site but none that particularly appealed to me.
